Empowering Neurodiverse Minds:
Supporting Autism and ADHD with Compassion and Care
Does this sound like You?
Parents and Guardians
You feel like you are having a hard time connecting to your child.
You are finding difficulty in understanding your child’s quirky nature.
You are concerned that your child is not building or maintaining friendships.
Your child’s teachers mention that your child is struggling to focus and stay organized.
You notice increasing signs of worry in your child such as more meltdowns, not wanting to try new things, or difficulty falling asleep.
Your child struggles completing tasks they had previously mastered, is engaging in self-harm, or has decreased interest in their favorite things.
During stressful situations it seems your child loses control of their body or voice.
Teens
You have difficulty knowing what to say in social situations?
School is so much noise.
You feel like your interests don’t align with others.
You are more comfortable talking online or being alone than with others.
People call you sensitive or quirky.
Your parents struggle to understand the real you.
You don’t feel like you are in the right body.
You feel shame and sadness about what you aren’t for other people.
You’ve thought of suicide or engage in self-harm to escape the pain of every day.
Adults
Your family is worried about you living independently.
You’ve recently been diagnosed or you think you may be neurodivergent.
You have a hard time coping at work and the stress makes you more overwhelmed.
You feel lonely but are unsure how to reach out to make connections.
You have a hard time initiating activities because you feel like your brain gets in the way.
You’ve been to other therapists and they try to “fix” you.
Hey! I’m Leslie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who has spent my career working with the neurodivergent community. I know how beautiful, unique, and exceptional our community is but also know how difficult it can be to navigate in a “nuerotypical world'“ where one can feel out of place, anxious, isolated and alone. I want to celebrate the real you, to provide a safe place to work together to build the skills, self-esteem, and self-awareness to make life, not just manageable, but fulfilling for your unique vision.
